		Remember in prayer: Annette Shrader will have surgery on August 6 at UVA. · Lynn Anderson is at the VA but improving. Hopes to be moving soon! Theresa Ambruse, niece of Bob Garby, had surgery on Thursday in OH. Grace Earnhart will be returning from her trip to Europe later this week. 		Wedding Bells & Fiftieth Anniversary
		Nancy Birney and Tom Richardson will be married on July 31 at 2:00 in the afternoon at the Spring Hill Church of Christ in Spring Hill, Tennessee. If you are unable to attend, they request your prayers as they start their new life together. Norris & Velda Gearhart will celebrate their 50th Anniversary on August 14. The are inviting you to join in their celebration from 2-4 at the West Side Church of Christ Fellowship Hall. Please RSVP by August 8.

		Bible Class Broadcast
		The new Teaching Quarter begins June 6th. On Wednesday, June 2nd, the last 5 minutes of class (at the first bell), ALL summer quarter teachers go to their classrooms so the kids can meet their new teachers. Also, spring quarter teachers will need to move kids up one level (next classroom) "IF" they are being promoted. You can check the posted class rolls in each hallway. The Summer Quarter Primary teachers will be: Bonnie Mellon, Marsha Cooke, Rebecca Durham, Judy Durham, Dorothy Mays, Marc Laplante, and Adam House. Eddy Gilpin will be teaching the Old Testament class in the auditorium on Sunday mornings. If you need an outline, please sign up on the board. David Brown will be teaching Building a Positive Christian Life in the fellowship hall. If you plan to attend this class please sign up on the board. Our Youth Intern, Ryan Davis will be teaching the combined Middle and High School class on Sunday mornings in the High School Classroom. Our Wednesday Summer Series will begin on June 2 with Donnie Vick from Purcellville. Also this summer we will hear from the following: Adam Horn, Jerry Anderson, Clarence Lavendar, Danny Guard, Michael Jordan, Bob Horn, Ryan Davis, Keith Hovis, Garrett Durham, Sam Valentine, Ed Mickens, Eric Earnhart, Mitchell Floyd, and Tom Duff. Hope you will be here to hear all of these men!

		Simmons Family Fund
		The Lake Drive congregation has established a fund to help Ben and Tabitha Simmons with their expenses for their daughter Isabelle’s cancer treatments/medical expenses. If you would like to participate in their support, make your check payable to the “Lake Drive church of Christ”; be sure to note on your check that it is for the “Simmons Family Fund”. 		Discovery Club Flying High with the Eagles The Discovery Club will have a meeting at 4:00 in the large classroom on July 25 they will be making a bird house or feeder.
