Wednesday Announcements May 7, 2008 Charlie Puckett is in RMH. Jean Argabright is home after her surgery. Remember in Prayer: Betty Jenkins, Marguerite Charles, Margaret Kratz, Freda Shockley, Lynn & Mary Anderson, Curtis Doss, Jeremy Werness, Roy Doss. VBS 2008 is planned for June 28. We need nearly 50 actors this year, so sign up on the board to act or to help out in other areas listed. Greg has challenged the skit leaders to have all actors in place by May 14, please help them out by signing up tonight. With the help of dedicated workers we can make VBS 2008 an outstanding success!! See Greg if you have any questions!! Men’s Breakfast will be this Saturday at 8 AM at Famous Anthony’s. SW Virginia Regional Church of Christ Fellowship Picnic will be on May 10 at the Franklin Co. Rec Park. See details on the board. Gospel Meeting coming up on May 11-14 with Glenn Colley. Glenn’s address labels are in the foyer – drop him a line and send him our encouragement!! Team 3(Brown) will be having a pot-luck meal to feed the preacher on Monday, May 14, at 5:45. David Cox, long-time VCCamper will be having a birthday on May 16. Send him a card to: 3932 Hebron Road, Galax, VA 24333. Wedding Shower Luncheon for Caleb Guard and Carrie Young will be on May 18, at 12:00. Ladies Night Out will be on May 22 at 6:30. Details are posted on the board. VIRGINIA CHRISTIAN CAMP Camp Dates—June 15-21. Applications are in the foyer—please return to Curtis Graves by May 15. West Side needs to send 16 oz. squeezable bottles of grape jelly to camp – see Velda!! Horizons/CTS bus registrations are also located in the foyer! Yellow is for Senior Week. Attention all adults planning to ride the bus and attend the Christian Training Series at F-HU: The dates are July 12- 18. Please see Jerry or Kay to get a registration form for CTS. We need to see how many adults will be going and start matching people up for room assignments. We want to try to get first choice on the room accommodations.
